With more than two decades of reporting experience in Houston, Andy has become a trusted voice in the community. Andy joined KPRC 2 in June 2012, following nine successful years as a reporter at KTRK in Houston. His career began in July 1994, and since then, he has worked in various cities across the country--building a wealth of experience and honing his skills as a journalist and storyteller. He’s been an integral part of the KPRC 2 newsroom, covering a wide range of stories--always with a commitment to keeping viewers informed and engaged . His passion for journalism and dedication to the greater Houston area continue to drive his work, delivering stories and content that matter most to the local audience. In early 2024, Andy helped launch KPRC 2’s successful series “Our Town,” a project aimed at highlighting community stories making a positive impact in the various neighborhoods that make up the diverse fabric of Houston.
Over the years, Andy has worked on three major documentaries , including traveling to Rwanda twice and to the Pantanal in Brazil. These projects, driven by a passion for wildlife conservation and culture exploration, are a testament to his commitment to storytelling that matters. Andy is incredibly proud to work alongside a talented team whose heart and dedication make these powerful stories come to life.
